Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Wednesday decided to part ways with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government – led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The provincial party chief Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, in a statement, said the decision was done in good faith.
“We will make the announcement in a joint press conference with Chief Minister Pervez Khattak,” said Khan. The JI leader further said that the decision was the need of the time after the restoration of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA).
