Advisor to prime minister (PM) on Economy Razzaq Dawood announced on that Pakistan was considering allowing visa on arrival for citizens of 55 countries.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the PM advisor shared that a policy was being formulated and it would be tabled in front of the PM in January. “We will also consult security forces regarding the matter,” he added. The advisor said that Pakistan needed tourism and the government would do whatever was in interest of the country. Earlier in January, Pakistan announced to allow visa on arrival for group tourists for 24 countries including the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK).
